We have walked this same road and discovered God’s power to bring freedom, healing, and new identity in Christ. We found CHANGE not by pursuing CHANGE but by pursuing JESUS. No matter where you are in your journey, you have a place here. Below you’ll find real stories of hope, encouragement for the journey, discipleship resources for those who have a story like ours, and a community that will stand with you as you pursue God’s best for your life.

Real Hope-Filled Stories of CHANGED

CHANGED is a compilation of inspirational stories of men and women who have come out of homosexuality. This newest edition now features 60+ stories and 12 stories of individuals who transitioned to identifying as the opposite sex, encountered Jesus, and then de-transitioned back to their biological sex.

Inside, find insight into the real pains of LGBTQ as well as the hope we have in Jesus.

Culture says we don’t exist. They say “No one ‘leaves LGBTQ’ or walks away from that lifestyle. It’s impossible to get rid of your same-sex-attraction.” But we did. These are our stories. This book features stories of people who have faced rejection, pain, and despair, but have also found fulfillment. The goal is to create dialogue that can help people understand the complexity of LGBTQ identity and to protect alternatives to that subculture.

Navigating LGBTQ Series

Navigating LGBTQ is a video-course designed for Christians that offers teaching, testimony, and perspective on LGBTQ topics from three angles: Scripture, science, and lived experience. It’s structured in chapters, including sessions about worldview, the science behind sexual & gender identity, personal stories of moving away from an LGBTQ identity, and practical wisdom for loving relationships & family dynamics.

  • Hearing real stories of people who have wrestled with same-sex attraction and have pursued a different identity or path — you’ll see examples of transformation, not just theological arguments. This can bring encouragement that change or growth is possible.

  • Putting scripture and science into conversation helps you think more clearly about what you believe, what you feel, and how those things intersect. It can help you sort out what is internal conviction, what is cultural pressure, and how to face both with faith.

  • Practical steps and “keys” to freedom are part of the content — not just concepts, but what people have found helpful in actually walking away from LGBTQ identity toward a different identity in Christ. These can provide concrete hope and tools for someone desiring change.

  • Support in community & relationships — loving friends, family, church, or small group dynamics: how to be understood, how to show love, how to hold on to convictions without isolating yourself. There’s content about family dynamics, discipleship, and how others can walk alongside you.

Navigating LGBTQ for Families

While Navigating LGBTQ gives the foundation that every Christian needs, there are very unique and specific situations that parents and families find themselves in.

  • How can I best represent Christ and meet the needs of my teenage daughter who now identifies as a lesbian, or of my young son who has begun identifying as a girl?

  • What are the reasons that my child is wrestling with his/her identity and what can I do to help them?

  • What are deceptions and dangers to children within culture and in today’s education systems that I need to be aware of?

These are the some of the questions parents and families are asking today. Our team of experts in the fields of gender identity and child development will equip you to navigate LGBTQ within your family in our cultural climate.

In Process: We’re currently working behind the scenes to gather the right people to make sure we’re answering the right questions and getting you the best answers possible.

EDUCATION

Conversations about LGBTQ are becoming more common in classrooms and on campuses, and it can feel overwhelming to know how to respond with scientific and biblical truth but also grace and compassion for those around us. At CHANGED, we come alongside educators with stories, tools, and biblical perspective to help you navigate these complex issues. Our goal is to equip you to create safe spaces for learning, while preserving rights of speech, conscience, and religion for all students, regardless of lifestyle or background.

GOVERNMENT

Advocating for freedoms of religion, speech, & conscience

CHANGED is honored to participate in the worldwide discourse on choice, conscience, and personal transformation. We engage with legislators, ambassadors, thought leaders, and communities from coast to coast and pole to pole. Our team has been invited to testify before members of the U.S. Congress, state legislatures, and international bodies, sharing insights into the lived experiences of those who have walked this path.

Our mission transcends borders, as we advocate for the fundamental right to pursue personal change while highlighting the risks of banning such efforts. By fostering open dialogue with global leaders and organizations, CHANGED ensures that the stories of transformation resonate in every corner of the world, defending the dignity and agency of individuals everywhere.

Our Amicus Brief: Chiles v. Salazar Case

CHANGED is honored to contribute an amicus brief in support of plaintiff Kaley Chiles in the landmark Chiles v. Salazar case, now before the United States Supreme Court. This case challenges Colorado’s Minor Conversion Therapy Law, which bans licensed counselors from providing “conversion therapy” to minors. Chiles v. Salazar is a pivotal moment in our mission to restore First Amendment freedoms across the nation.

CHANGED was invited to submit an amicus brief because our community’s stories of transformation highlight the importance of protecting free speech in counseling. We stand with Kaley Chiles to ensure individuals can access faith-aligned support without government censorship, preserving the right to share biblical perspectives in therapeutic settings.

What's At Stake

A victory for Kaley Chiles could invalidate similar bans in over 23 states, strengthening First Amendment protections for free speech and religious liberty. It would affirm the right of counselors, individuals, and organizations like CHANGED to share testimonies of transformation without fear of suppression. For our community, this case is about safeguarding the ability to offer hope, support, and biblical guidance to those seeking change. A win would ensure that voices like ours continue to be heard, fostering a culture where faith and freedom thrive.

We are thrilled to play a role in this historic case and remain committed to advocating for faith, freedom, and human dignity.

Testifying Globally

CHANGED has been invited by legislators and organizations globally to travel and speak with legislators and give insight into the LGBTQ experience from those who have chosen to leave. We share on the importance of choice and conscience and the risks of banning efforts for change.
